Aliant's YLP18 lithium battery is a state-of-the-art starter battery based on safe lithium iron phosphate technology. These batteries are specifically designed for high-performance applications such as motorcycles, ATVs and quads. The YLP18 is up to 50% lighter than traditional batteries and supports up to 3000 charge/discharge cycles. In addition, it allows up to 12,000 starts. Another advantage of this battery is its extremely fast charging: a full charge is possible in less than 40 minutes and a partial charge in less than 2 minutes. The self-discharge rate is exceptionally low, less than 0.05% daily when the battery is unplugged.
